Who am I?

My name is Arbri Shameti, and I created this blog and this newsletter to share some of my thoughts, ideas, inspirations, creative journey, and anything else I think is worth exploring.

Why am I sharing my creations publicly?

Death. We’re all going to die.

I don’t mean to sound morbid, quite the opposite; I mean to inspire myself and maybe you as you read this. Time is finite, and that is what gives value to everything. Also, while we’re on time, the older I get, I would like to move closer to the side of creating and further away from the side of consuming.

What areas will I explore?

About 90% of the topics I am interested in broadly fall into one of these categories: personal development, mindfulness, philosophy, fitness, and books. Maybe not in that order. Maybe some categories will have more interest than others. Perhaps they will change over time. I can’t promise something I don’t know. What I know is this: based on my experiences and education (both formal and informal) to date, I firmly believe that those areas, with a bit of application can lead to a life with more intention and awareness, which are the foundations to a life lived well.

Also, when my time comes, I want to look back and say what Frank Sinatra once said:

I did it my way

And I would hope you do too.

Let’s Talk!

If you find the slightest value in anything I share online be it this blog, newsletter or any social media outlet, please email me at contact@arbrishameti.com and let me know. It will make my day to know I have helped you or made you think about something.

If you’re feeling generous, you’re a family member or friend, you can donate here.

I welcome all constructive criticism and feedback. Please tell me if I made a mistake somewhere, if something comes off as misleading, or maybe help me with my writing. I am and will continue to be learning which means you will help me more than you realize and in return, will help me produce better writing for you, which I believe is a win-win for us all.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog.

With love from Queens, NY
